Metallic Dice Games
Metallic Dice Games (MDG) is part of an ultra-niche product category of 7 piece dice sets used for Role Playing Games and other board games. While they had products that no one else had (gemstone dice, tungsten dice, etc.) they were having a hard time establishing a solid eCommerce presence on their original website. After designing them a new website and integrating tracking code, we were able to drastically increase their sales and online engagement. We’ve also helped them market custom made products for GenCon (the largest gaming convention in the world).
MDG had a long history of sucsessful high-end Kickstarters grossing $40K+ and we were brought on to take it to the next level. For the first Kickstarter Campaign, we tried a variety of advertising channels (Facebook, Display Advertising on BoardGameGeek.com, and a few others.) Overall, we were able to get a return of 7.55 ROAS helping it break $100,000 in 30 days. This figure does not include an additional $2.4k+ in unanticipated sales from the ads as well. With the extra advertising, we were able to sign up 6x the number of pledges than any of the prior 10+ Kickstarter projects.
